Recognition Ceremonies FAQs

Based on the number of positive RSVPs received via the invitation you received, the University will allocate a faculty to a date and time within the timeframe of 12 to 15 December. It is essential to RSVP to receive further information. You will receive detailed information within the next two weeks. 
Each graduate is allowed a maximum of four guests. Due to venue capacity, we cannot allow additional guests. 
It is important to note that you have already graduated, so there will be no capping and hooding. As you make your way onto the stage, your Deputy Dean will call out your name. This is where your first photograph will be taken. You will then cross the stage to the Executive Dean where you will be congratulated before you make your way to the Registrar for your second photograph. You will proceed off the stage and into the passage behind the stage for your head and shoulders photograph, before re-entering the venue to be seated.  
You will need to wear your full academic attire. This includes a gown, hood, and cap. Further details will be sent to you, including an order form.  

You will receive tickets for yourself and your four guests. This will be communicated to you closer to the time.
